PCT Federal Credit Union Announces New Purpose Statement; Redefines Its Commitment to Community Service Through Active Inclusion

West Wareham, MA: PCT Federal Credit Union announces new mission statement; redefines its commitment to community service through active inclusion.

“Welcome to PCT.  We are more than a credit union; we are people helping people.  We are an integral community hub that bridges financial and socioeconomic gaps by leveraging education, resources, and services that empower individuals, families, and small businesses in underserved communities.  PCT is committed to forging strategic partnerships with organizations that share in our mission to uplift the underserved and underprivileged. Through this common goal, we create a movement, and begin to shape a world that narrows inequality and drives active inclusion.”

PCT recently held its first ‘Community Connector’ meeting, hosting representatives from Baystate Community Resource Center, Turning Point, Father Bill’s & Mainspring, Damien’s Place Food Pantry, SEMAP, Wareham High School, Wareham Police Department, Coastal Food Shed, & Brockton High School.

“I am so grateful to be a part of this community, with dedicated providers who work tirelessly to protect, enable, and empower individuals, families, and small businesses throughout. It is my hope to bring real, impactful change into the community,” says Brian Bacci, President and CEO at PCT. “I am fired up and super excited about what we all can accomplish together!”

“This collaborative approach opens lines of communication between otherwise siloed organizations, and provides the opportunity to identify the needs of the community, share resources, and take away actionable insights that drive broader social change,” says Keri McDevitt, Executive at PCT.

This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments lead by Bacci, including:

  • Approved Charter Conversion & Field of Membership Expansion to Plymouth County
  • Received Low-Income Designation – Access to benefits designed to help members recognized to have challenges accessing mainstream financial products and services
  • Modernized Digital Infrastructure – Core processing, Security, Member Onboarding, & Website
