Save the Date! Clambake XXXVII, “37 Years of Celebrating Science and Education!”

May 3, 2022

Lloyd Center for the Environment’s Clambake XXXVII will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022. This year, we will be offering both our well-received Meals to Go, and the Silent Auction in online format. We look forward to partnering with several local restaurants. Dining information coming soon!

“This year, our Meals to Go will feature both lunch and dinner options for at-home dining”, commented Clambake Steering Committee Chair Winnie Phyfe, who spoke enthusiastically about the event. “For the auction, we are collecting many wonderful and exciting items which are coming in daily! The auction will run from Friday, July 1 through Friday, July 8, giving supporters eight days to shop from home.” Auction details to come!

If you would like to donate an item to our exciting online auction or would like more information, please contact JoAnn Cornell at jcornell@lloydcenter.org.

A tradition upon which so much depends, the Clambake helps to underwrite the costs of the Lloyd Center’s critically important environmental education, research, and outreach programs. Today, the Lloyd Center is working hard to bring first-rate environmental science classes to thousands of deserving children in our area’s public schools.

As permitted, the Lloyd Center’s staff has been working their way back into the classroom as well as continuing to zoom into local classrooms with the Center’s environmental programming. A huge success in 2021, we are once again, holding socially-distanced Summer Programs this year.
