Dartmouth boys soccer season ends in semifinals loss
On Monday, Nov. 17, the Dartmouth High School boys soccer team lost 3-0 to Duxbury High School in the semifinals, closing out a season of successes.
This was the first time since 2001 that the team reached the semi-finals, an achievement that Head Coach Joshua Silva said the team should be “incredibly proud of.”
He added, “ It speaks to their commitment, their growth, and the work they’ve put in all season.”
Silva said that the team had wanted to go further, but he said that making it to the final four shows what the team is capable of.
“It’s a special accomplishment, and the experience will only make us better moving forward,” he said.
“Credit to our opponent they executed well and capitalized on their chances,” said Silva. “I’m proud of our players for the effort and fight they showed from start to finish.”
