Davoll’s General Store will hold an author reading on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 5 p.m. featuring novelist Teddy Wayne in conversation with Maura Kelly.

Wayne, whose newest novel “The Great Man Theory” was released this summer, is also the author of “Apartment,” “Loner,” “The Love Song of Jonny Valentine,” and “Kapitoil.”

He is the winner of a Whiting Writers’ Award and an NEA Creative Writing Fellowship as well as a finalist for the Young Lions Fiction Award, the PEN/Bingham Prize, and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize.

Kelly, meanwhile, is a writer in her own right whose work includes personal essays, profiles and op-eds. She has worked with The Washington Post, Slate, Glamour, and a host of other distinguished publications.
