On Saturday, June 13 the 36th annual kids Get Hooked on Fishing Not Drugs Fishing Derby is returning.
Kids between the ages of 5 and 16 will be provided bait and should be accompanied by an adult.
The derby, which is sponsored by Knights of Columbus, will be held from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Mello's Pond, located about one mile west of the main UMass Dartmouth entrance on Old Westport Road. The entrance to the pond is on the south side of the street.
