The win comes two weeks after the girls last practiced, due to being off first for February break and then for an additional week of snow days.
"Not playing for almost two weeks, our offense didn't look very good, but that's what happens," said Head Coach Brian Jalbert.
Dartmouth had originally been scheduled to play East Longmeadow on Tuesday, Feb. 24, but the game was delayed due to Monday's blizzard.
"The game went pretty well in the first half, and then we kind of forgot how to play," Jalbert said. "You get to the second half, we just didn't play very good defense."
Jalbert said he was proud of the score going into the second half of the game, when Dartmouth was up 20-6.
"[The game] went as well as I thought it could in the first half, not the second half," Jalbert said.
The girls won't have a chance to practice or go over drills before their next game, which is scheduled for Sunday, March 1 against Whitman-Hanson Regional High School.
"We've worked on the things that we've needed to work on all season," Jalbert said. "We've worked on layups all season, but we've seemed to miss quite a few times."
Jalbert said that missing layups in the game against East Longmeadow didn't affect the game, but it will likely come into play against Whitman-Hanson.
Whitman-Hanson is seeded number two in the tournament, having won 19 regular-season games and losing just two.
"It's going to be a tough game," Jalbert said.
