The Humane Society and Shelter SouthCoast is hosting its annual Give Me Shelter Gala at its Ventura Drive shelter on November 2 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The annual gala will feature food, music, a magic act, entertainment, cocktails, raffles, and auctions. Attendees will also get a chance to meet the shelter’s animals up for adoption. 

Tickets are $85 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the shelter between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Tickets will also be available at the door for $100 each. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit the shelter, which relies on charitable donations, endowments, adoptions, and fundraising events to fund its programming.
