A fundraiser for local shelter Odie’s Place has been postponed due to an issue with costs for renting space at UMass Dartmouth for the festival.

Odie’s Place owner Brian Harrington announced on Facebook on July 29 that OdiePalooza 4 would be postponed after a miscommunication involving the rental contract.

The North Dartmouth non-profit rescues animals from kill shelters to be placed in homes.

A new date for the event has yet to be announced.
