Friday, June 25 

Farmers market has local produce 

The Dartmouth Farmers' Market will be held from 1-6 p.m. Friday, June 25 on the lawn at St. Mary’s Parish Center, 789 Dartmouth St.

The market offers locally raised meats and eggs, locally grown produce and flowers and crafted food, handmade goods, crafts and art. Local musicians will perform. 

Saturday, June 26 

Books, household items for sale 

A yard sale will be hosted by the Dartmouth Historical & Arts Society from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.        at its School House headquarters, 1205 Russells Mills Road. Rain date is June 27.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. through 2 p.m. and will feature books and household items, as well as other miscellany. For those who want to sell, there will be 29 available 10’ x 10’ tables for a minimum donation of $10. Sellers are also instructed to bring their own tables.

Wednesday, June 30 

Celtic rock band performs

Off Kilter, a Celtic rock band, will perform from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 30 at Apponagansett Park, Gulf Road. 

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person at the gate, $4 per person in advance. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. A season pass is available for $30.

Advance ticket sales and season passes are available at the town Parks and Recreation Office.

Thursday, July 1 

Learn to preserve historical archives

A training seminar, “Preservation of Historical Archives,’’ a small group seminar, will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at the Russells Mills headquarters of the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society, 1205 Russells Mills Road.

This course is a prerequisite for future training sessions.
