Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth Named One of the 2017 Healthiest Employers by The Boston Business Journal

PLYMOUTH, MA – Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth (BID-Plymouth) was named one of the 2017 Healthiest Employers in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal.

This year, the BBJ is honoring 24 companies in Massachusetts for their efforts in maintaining and improving employee health.

 “We are excited and honored to be recognized by the Boston Business Journal for being one of the Healthiest Employers in Massachusetts,” said Kevin Coughlin, Interim CEO and President of BID-Plymouth. “We strive to provide our employees and their families with the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs to help them live healthier lives.”

The Healthiest Employers finalists were chosen through an assessment process consisting of 75 scored questions that are completed by the participating companies.

The BBJ partnered with Springbuk, their third-party research and survey manager, to evaluate the nominees’ initiatives in the following categories:

  • Leadership Commitment
  • Foundational Component
  • Strategic Planning
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Programming & Intervention
  • Reporting & Analysis

Honorees will be highlighted in a special section of the BBJ on August 3, while each company’s scores and final rankings will be revealed on the same day during an event at Community Rowing in Boston.
