The ducks are back and ready to race!!

The race takes place on Sunday, May 21 at the Tihonet Pond Canal where they will be let loose in the rushing water sluice to make their way to the calm waters where our favorite volunteer in waders will be watching to see which ducks make it to win the race. The Canal is located at the A.D. Makepeace Company, Tihonet Village, 150 Tihonet Road in Wareham. (Thanks to the folks at Makepeace for their help each year with the race. We couldn't do it without them.)

As always, there will be some Ducky Family Fun prior to the race which starts at 1:00 pm. Registration is from 11 am to 12:45 pm. 

Ducks may be purchased ahead of time at the Library, at Makepeace Farms or at the Tihonet Canal before the race.

One Race duck is $5. A Six Quack is $25 for 6. A Bakers Dozen is $50 for 13 ducks. And you can splurge on a Golden Flock and get 25 of the cuties for $100!!
