Bus from Cape Cod and Tri-Town to Dartmouth’s Friends Academy Begins This Week
See a new school bus on your morning commute? Friends Academy began morning bus service this week from Bourne and Marion to its North Dartmouth campus, making the preschool-grade 8 school more accessible to families on Cape Cod and in the Tri-Town area.
The Friends Academy bus picks up at the Bourne Rotary and Marion’s Brew Fish Bar & Eatery each morning before arriving at Friends around 7:50 a.m.
“It was an exciting morning -- the bus was loaded with a group of happy kids as we waved goodbye,” said Mary Webb of West Falmouth, whose two children Harrison and Avery rode the inaugural bus from its Bourne Rotary stop on Monday. “The new bus service makes Friends Academy even more easily accessible to those of us on the Cape. My kids also like the social time and getting last-minute homework done.”

Students from approximately 30 families from the Cape and the Tri-Town currently attend Friends. The school serves students from a wide geographic area that ranges from Rhode Island to Taunton to Cape Cod.
