FREE: Sonata Saturdays in the Seaport

Jun 14, 2021

The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra (NBSO) in partnership with The Drawing Room will bring free music to the New Bedford Seaport District this summer!

As part of the Summer in the Seaport campaign, NBSO musicians will perform on the front porch of The Drawing Room at 36 N. Water Street from 4-6 pm, on the 4th Saturday of June, July, August, and September. Summer in the Seaport is a campaign to help locals and tourists explore New Bedford’s vibrant culture from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 2021! Sample itineraries for day trips and entire weekends can be found at https://ahanewbedford.org/summerseaport/.

Each Saturday will include wine tastings, locally-grown flowers in the bouquet bar, and, of course, artful treasures inside The Drawing Room. Chairs will be set up around the block, but you may also bring your own to secure a seat. Stop by and experience something beautiful!

Musician Schedule:

July 24: Raluca Dumitrache, violin and Antoaneta Anguelova, violin
