The Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham is hosting their annual Halloween costume drive now through October 13th, collecting all sizes & types of gently used costumes and accessories. If you are cleaning out the closets, basement, attic or toy room and have adult or child sized costumes that are able to be recycled, please consider dropping them off at the Welcome Center of the Gleason Family YMCA. Recycle your costumes and get a voucher for $3 toward the purchase of another recycled costume at the Y’s costume event on 10/14/23. Donations of new and gently used costumes & accessories is greatly appreciated. 

Since 2014 the Gleason Family YMCA has been hosting a costume exchange, giving new life to costumes that are often worn only once. The Y hosts a recycled costume sale in lobby on Saturday October 14th, with reduced prices ($1-$10) on costumes & accessories, keeping Halloween affordable for families in the community. Many have benefited from finding just the right costume to wear for costume parties and trick or treating at our costume sale. Reduce, re-use, recycle at the Y this Halloween!
