YMCA Southcoast Hosts Annual Healthy Kids Day - Multiple Dates and Locations

YMCA Southcoast is hosting their annual Healthy Kids Day® at the Fall River, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Swansea, and Wareham branches. This free, annual event features a variety of family-friendly activities to encourage healthy kids, healthy families, and a healthy start to the summer season. Some featured activities include water safety demos, touch-a-truck, puppet storytelling, camp tours, an inflatable obstacle course and much more.

Sponsored by Eggland’s Best, Healthy Kids Day’s mission is to turn fun and play into lifelong memories. Dates and times vary by branch.

  •  Saturday, April 29th 10:00am-2:00pm - Basketball skills, obstacle course, arts & crafts, dance, family Zumba, touch-a-truck, water safety demos, healthy snacks, and more.

  • Saturday, May 13th - Inflatable obstacle course, water safety demos, Akido demo, Scholastic Book Fair, Wareham Garden Club, Bootstrap Farm Club pop-up market, K9 demo w/ Bristol County Sheriff’s Department, and more.

  • Saturday, May 13th – Open swim, wet & dry water safety, water “watchers” training for parents, preschool puppet storytelling, crafts, lawn games & Obstacle Course, Healthy Snacks, Touch-a-Truck, and more.
