Event has passed
June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, giving us all an opportunity to think more deeply about cognitive health and well-being. For centuries, we've known that the health of the brain and the body are connected. Now, science can provide insights into lifestyle choices that may help us keep our brain and body healthier as we age.
Join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Tuesday, June 20, at 3:00 p.m. for a presentation on steps people can take to help maintain cognitive health and well-being. Carolyn Lazaris from the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will discuss the latest research and share hands-on tools to help attendees plan for healthier aging. The program will be held at the Dartmouth North Branch Library.
The program, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries, is free and open to the public. Ms. Lazaris’ presentation will be held in the community room at Dartmouth North Branch Library, 211 Cross Road, Dartmouth. For more information, please e-mail fodl.libraries@gmail.com.
