The Marion Art Center welcomes Party of the Sun to the MAC stage on Saturday, May 11 at 7:30pm, with Ethan McBrien, featuring Colin Bradley and Barry Gross. Join the MAC in welcoming Sage Petrocelli for her first solo show, opening for the trio. Sage Petrocelli is Marion-based and Vermont-raised aspiring singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist of her own original compositions. At only 13 years of age, Sage debuts Dear Daisy - to be bought and streamed on all platforms.

Party of the Sun is an indie folk band from New Hampshire led by songwriter Ethan McBrien and producer/multi-instrumentalist Rory Hurley. Since 2006, both McBrien and Hurley have recorded and performed with funk/rock fusion outfit The Youngest Sun. Throughout his career, McBrien has had interest in folk music as well, writing many songs influenced by the Americana tradition. In the fall of 2015, McBrien and Hurley began recording this material. These collaborative sessions, at McBrien's home, a small sheep farm in Marlborough, NH, were the impetus of what would soon become Party of the Sun. The first recordings from Party of the Sun surfaced in summer of 2017 via three singles released on the LA-based independent label Trailing Twelve Records. Lay Low, their debut EP, was released in the autumn of 2017.

Tickets are available in person, by phone, or online here.
A limited number of cabaret tables (seating for 4) are available. Attendees may bring their own refreshments to enjoy with the music.
