NBSO Returns with a Family Holiday Treat

On Saturday, December 15, the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra brings the best holiday concert to town when Maestro Yaniv Dinur leads the orchestra in two performances of the annual Holiday Pops Concert at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center!

The 3:30pm children’s matinee features a special surprise for children in attendance, while the 7pm performance includes a bit more music. The festively decorated theater makes the perfect setting for this wonderful holiday outing. Both performances include your favorite holiday music performed by our magnificent orchestra as well as special appearances by the Showstoppers and the Southeastern Massachusetts Youth Orchestra. The concerts will run approximately one-hour long, with no intermission. Share the joy of the season with friends and family and take part in a South Coast holiday tradition!

The United Way of Greater New Bedford will hold a food drive at both performances. You can help stock area food pantries by bringing your donation to the Holiday Pops Concerts. Acceptable Items include non-perishables and canned goods such as: peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, instant mashed potatoes, canned meats, soup, pasta, cereal (no glass, please).

Both Saturday concerts will take place at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in downtown New Bedford. Tickets are $20‒$43, with $10 student tickets (not available online).
