Open House on Nov. 13 (Welcome Wednesday)

Nov 5, 2024
If you're curious about Friends Academy for your child, Welcome Wednesdays are your chance to catch a glimpse of school in action! Welcome Wednesday open houses for 2024-25 will take place on Nov. 13, Feb. 12, and April 9.

Friends Academy is a coeducational, independent day school in North Dartmouth serving students in Early Childhood, Lower School (K-5), and Middle School (6-8). Students at Friends build a strong educational foundation through academics, community, respect for differences, responsible citizenship, and a sense of well-being — setting them up for a lifetime of learning and growth. Friends Academy is also home to the Sally Borden Program, an integrated program for children in grades 1-8 with language-based learning differences including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.

At our Welcome Wednesday open house, you will start off at All-School Meeting (8-8:30), a weekly gathering of the entire school community. This is an opportunity to sit in the audience and hear the voices of FA students of all ages, as well as chat with fellow parents/guardians of current students. Following All-School Meeting (8:30-9:30), take a brief tour with our Director of Enrollment and connect with school leaders about what makes Friends Academy special. You'll be able to ask questions and get information about how to take the next steps in the enrollment process if you choose to do so.

Can't make one of these dates? We are always ready to welcome you to learn more! Email Director of Enrollment Peter Bidstrup or complete a brief inquiry form on our website.
