Three’s a Crowd on March 28 and 29!

Mar 4, 2020

The South Coast Chamber Music Series presents “Three’s a Crowd” on March 28 & 29 in Marion and South Dartmouth. The concert program is a demonstration of the trio power of violinist Ariadne Daskalakis, NBSO principal cellist Leo Eguchi, and pianist Janice Weber. Starting with Bach’s violin Chaconne and the C major cello suite, concertgoers will be enthralled by the awesome power of four strings in the right hands. The program then segues into two stunning force multipliers: Mendelssohn’s scintillating Trio in C Minor and Café Music by Paul Schoenfield, a work fusing ragtime, jazz, and klezmer into a literally unforgettable tour de force.

There will be two performances: Saturday, March 28, 4pm, at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 124 Front Street, Marion, and Sunday, March 29, 4pm, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 351 Elm Street, South Dartmouth. Individual concert tickets are $20, available at the door or prepurchase online at nbsymphony.org/chamber-series-season/
