Sign up to join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Tuesdays in January and February from 11 a.m.-noon as Dr. Memory Holloway, art historian and UMass Dartmouth professor emerita, hosts the 31st Annual Molly Little Art Film Series.  Normally held each winter at the Southworth Library, this year’s film series will be held entirely online.  Dr. Holloway will introduce audience members to the artistic achievements of the Golden Age of Dutch and Italian painting (1600-1750) with a special focus on the work of Rembrandt, Vermeer, Reubens and Caravaggio.

On six successive Tuesday mornings, Dr. Holloway will curate relevant art films from the Dartmouth Library’s Kanopy collection and accompany each week’s film selection with a live lecture and audience discussion.

Dates and topics:  January 19 (Life & Art in the 17th Century); January 26 (Looking at Rembrandt); February 2 (Looking at Vermeer); February 9 (Reubens & Caravaggio); February 16 (Looking at Caravaggio); and February 23 (Reflections).

This virtual presentation requires pre-registration at www.tinyurl.com/DartmouthML21.  Audience members must sign up with an email address to receive a ZOOM code.  For more information, please e-mail fodl.libraries@gmail.com.
