Sign up to join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Monday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m. to hear local historian and lecturer, Christopher Daley, present an entertaining overview of the 1920’s, showcasing world events, Prohibition, organized crime as well as the style, fashion, and trends of the Jazz Age.

Christopher Daley has been lecturing on historical topics of interest for over 25 years.  Last spring, the Friends hosted a popular presentation on Irish history with Mr. Daley.  Currently a teacher in the Silver Lake Regional School System, Mr. Daley was formerly the President of the Pembroke Historical Society and Chairman of the Pembroke Historical Commission.  He was also a docent and Coordinator of Educational Outreach at the John Alden House historical site.
