Virtual Event: Sustainable Gardening
Event has passed
Sign up to join the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Thursday, June 24 at 6:30 p.m. to hear Kate Donovan, Garden Coach from Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens, as she discusses how to become a more efficient gardener by learning ways to lengthen your growing season and maximize your output, all while preserving resources.
Kate Donovan, who gave a popular virtual lecture on gardening for the Friends in February, helps clients grow food through lectures, garden planning, soil testing, tilling, and building raised beds. She’s the founder of a 69,000-member Facebook gardening group called “Vegetable, Fruit, Herbs and Flower Gardening.” Kate maintains seven extra-long raised beds, considers her home her horticulture laboratory, and tries new varieties and techniques every year.
