The Wareham Land Trust has decided to participate in #GivingTuesdayNow to encourage members of the Wareham community to reflect on their relationship to the local environment in Wareham and to The Wareham Land Trust. Now more than ever, people are seeking out natural areas as a way to reduce stress and stay active during this time of uncertainty. The Wareham Land Trust takes pride in being able to provide open spaces that are free and open to the public, and we want to be able to keep these properties open now and for years to come. We hope that the Wareham community utilizes these natural resources and finds a greater appreciation for conservation efforts in town.

For the community to participate in #GivingTuesdayNow, we encourage individuals to give their Voice, Goods, Time, Talent, Kindness, and Dollars. This can be in the form advocating for land protection in town, donating materials for outreach and tools for stewardship, informal volunteering, lending skills that can help the organization, doing something nice for someone, and becoming a member of The Wareham Land Trust. To learn about the WLT’s involvement and ways to give back, read our blog about #GivingTuesdayNow.
