Beach stickers now for sale online

Feb 17, 2023

Summer may be a few months away, but the town’s Department of Parks and Recreation is ready for beach season.

Stickers are now available for purchase online. In-person at the Parks and Rec office will no longer be available.

To access this online service, residents should visit the town’s main webpage and select the online permitting tab. Processing fees apply.

Payment can be made by check or credit card only.

When applying, you will need to upload a copy of your vehicle’s registration. Seniors will also have to upload a copy of their ID.

Sticker prices will remain the same as last year at $40 — $30 for senior citizens.

According to the Parks & Rec Department, stickers will be mailed on the day that they are processed. It could take up to 10 days to receive your sticker.

You will not be allowed to enter the beach until you have received your sticker and placed it on your car. With the new format, the beach stickers will be on sale from now through Aug. 19.

The Parks and Rec department currently does not offer a means of purchasing beach stickers for residents who are unable to access the online permitting page, but indicated that it will try to set up a mail-in system in the future.
