Bishop Stang beasts sailing season with 12-0 record

The Bishop Stang High School Sailing Team had a very successful season—locally, regionally, and nationally. The team's overall 13-7 record also earned them a Cape and Islands record of 12-0.

The Stang team earned the titles of Cape and Islands Team Racing Champions, Cape and Islands Fleet Racing Champions, and Cape and Islands Womens Championship Winners.

The team also qualified for the Terk Championships, a regional race based on New England Schools Sailing Association (NESSA) standings, and placed fourth overall. Having qualified for the National Invitational Team Racing Championships at Wayzata Community Sailing Center, in Wayzata, Minnesota, the team also earned sixth place.

The Bishop Stang Varsity Sailing Team includes: Olivia Dube, Kevin Gallagher, Clinton Hegarty, Santiago Hirschman, Sophia Hirschman, Elizabeth Lonergan, Victoria Pajak, Madeline Pope, Owen Reuther, Cece Schneider, Arianna Smaldone, and Jullian Sudofsky.
