Join Mass Audubon for its second free lunchtime gathering on Friday July 12 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at 786 East Horseneck Rd. 

The theme is “Ecological Restoration past, present, and future,” which will explore more than 50 years of osprey recovery, an 800% increase in Bobolinks in Allens Pond, and the efforts to save the Saltmarsh Sparrow from extinction in the year 2100. 

Attendees are encouraged to share their stories and ideas about Allens Pond. 

The next bagged lunch gathering will take place on Aug. 16 and the theme will be Urban engagement.
