Cumberland Farms worker tests positive for Covid

Aug 19, 2020

The Cumberland Farms at 244 Russells Mills Road closed for a few days last week after an employee tested positive for Covid-19, according to a statement from Cumberland Farms.

The location was closed on August 13 “to be cleaned and sanitized by an industrial cleaning crew,” the statement read.

All employees at that location have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines for those who may have come into contact with the virus, and “all appropriate steps” are being taken to comply with guidance from local health officials, including providing the affected employee and others with resources and support.

“We are grateful to all our customers for their patience and understanding during this time,” noted the statement.

The store has since re-opened.
