A group of 12 riders drove just over 20 miles to raise money for the Sharing the Harvest Community Farm, a Dartmouth-based nonprofit, volunteer-driven farm that works to alleviate hunger. 

The ride, which took place Sept. 18, brought riders from Nonquitt and back, passing through areas including Russells Mills, Horseneck Road, Barney’s Joy,  Jordan Road, Allen’s Neck. Potomska and Little River roads.

This was not an official ride in part because of pandemic protocols,Joan Dalton, a volunteer and member of the Sharing the Harvest Farm advisory committee, said. She said she “loves to raise awareness, support, volunteers and money for the farm and its mission.’’
