The Dartmouth Democratic Town Committee will host a discussion about the town’s Electricity Aggregation Program on Tuesday, Jan. 24 in Room 304 at Town Hall at 7 p.m.

The discussion will be conducted by Laura Gardner, the chairperson and founder of Climate Reality Massachusetts Southcoast.

This presentation will cover an introduction to the big picture as well as specifics about the climate-saving to be had in a greater participation in the Community Electricity Aggregation Program as well as questions from the audience.

Dartmouth Community Electricity Aggregation is a program offered by the Town of Dartmouth to provide residents and businesses with Town-vetted options for electricity supply. Dartmouth Community Electricity Aggregation does not replace Eversource, the electric utility in Dartmouth, which continues to deliver electricity, repair any outages, and billing, so customers continue to receive one bill.

The program website, MassCEA.com/Dartmouth, contains a description of the program, forms, and a phone number to call with questions.
