File for conservation permits online

Oct 11, 2022

Beginning Nov. 1, the Town of Dartmouth’s Conservation Commission will require all electronic filing for permits and filing fee payments to be conducted through the “OpenGov – Viewpoint” portal.

The portal  can be accessed through the town website by clicking on the “Online Permitting“ button in the banner of the homepage.

After clicking the Conservation button, follow the instructions for your particular permit application from there.

The Conservation Commission will still require two hardcopies of all documents and plans delivered to the office with a separate check for $75.00 made payable to Dartmouth Week, and submitted to staff along with the hardcopy submittal.

No permit applications will be processed with a “Legal Ad” or scheduled for hearing until the Conservation Staff and the Tax Collector’s office signs off that the submittal is administratively complete.

Administratively complete does not translate to technically complete, according to the Conservation Commission.
