The Dartmouth YMCA’s mobile food market is moving back to its previous home at the YMCA after having been hosted at St. Mary’s during the summer to free up space for the Y’s camp programs.

Markets are currently held every Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. (cars can line up at 2:30 p.m.).

The Dartmouth YMCA is located at 276 Gulf Road.

On average, according to YMCA Southcoast, up to 500 families are given a weekly meal free of charge.

Volunteers also deliver food to those who are homebound.

The program offers free food — including staples like vegetables, bread, and meat — with no registration required.
