Got an electric vehicle?

Now you can charge it for free at the North Dartmouth library branch, which has a new charging station with two hookups for electric vehicles. 

The Board of Library Trustees agreed to extend the fee-free charging for the next three months, as energy use at the LEED gold certified building has been low during the pandemic.

Solar panels on the library branch’s roof have also contributed to the low utility bills over the winter, according to Director of Libraries Lynne Antunes.

A fee schedule for later this spring has yet to be decided.
