Dartmouth Grange is now taking applications for the 2023 John H. Brown Jr.  Scholarships, to be awarded to graduating seniors at Dartmouth High School and  Westport High School.

Scholarship criteria include academic merit, community service and interests in environmental science or agricultural studies, although students in any field of study are encouraged to apply. Applications are due on April 15 and are available  =online from each school, and from the Dartmouth Grange website, www.dartmouthgrange.org. 

Last year the Dartmouth Grange gave over $36,000 in scholarships to eight students. Awards went to the following students from Dartmouth High School: Kylie deCosta, attending Nova Southeastern University; Emma Gifford, attending the University of  Massachusetts Dartmouth; Emma Tetrault, attending George Washington University; Charles Fairfax; attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst; Evan Garcia, attending Holy Cross University; and Christian Rezendes, attending Bridgewater State  University.
