Hear about a doctor’s 125 lb. weight loss journey

The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries on Thursday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. will host local author and obesity specialist Dr. Kevin Gendreau as he shares his inspirational story of his 125 lb. weight loss and how it transformed his life.
The talk will be held in the community room at the Dartmouth North Branch Library located at 211 Cross Road.
Gendreau earned his bachelor’s degree at Boston University before completing his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed residencies in Family Medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance and Carney Hospital through Tufts University. He also received an Honorarium for Prostate Cancer Research from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Gendreau is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and is board certified in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He currently works at the Fresh Start Program through South Coast Health.
