Compassionate Care Hospice is seeking volunteers to offer companionship and support to terminally ill patients for one hour per week.

Compassionate Care is looking for individuals to visit hospice patients in the Dartmouth area. Volunteers can also perform administrative duties in the Taunton office, or visit other communities located throughout Plymouth and Bristol counties.

Training is included. During the four-week course, you will learn about hospice care and how you can join a team of volunteers. Call and register for winter training, which will take place 6-7:30 p.m. at 174 Dean St., in Taunton, on Tuesday evenings (January 10, 17, 24, and 31). Individual training can also be scheduled by phone.
