Fire District No.1 held its annual election last week and Kevin Murphy will remain on its Prudential Committee for another three-year term.

This year’s election saw 46 ballots cast, with Murphy receiving 27 votes. His opponent Steve Melo received 15.

Three residents casted write-in ballots, while one was left blank.
