To the editor:

The two newest members of our Prudential Committee have offered the job of Fire Chief for district 2 to a man with limited experience when they already had the good fortune to have a chief of remarkable ability and dedication.   

Apparently they are willing to put our lives and property at risk for some personal animus. They are putting politics before public safety and I call that dereliction of duty.
