To the editor:

Yesterday, there was a meeting of the Prudential Committee at Dartmouth Town Hall, Slocum Road for 1 p.m. Meetings are presently at the Town Hall with Dartmouth Police present to make sure the residents of District 2 do not get out of line (We do speak out without permission, but we cannot speak to anything the committee does because they will not open the meeting to questions, our concerns, or ideas).

But…  the meeting was canceled, not posted as canceled, and we all showed up to an empty room. We should have known because of no Dartmouth Police presence. 

But Mr. Bouley (the committee chair) does not care about the people in the district or our time, I believe my time is just as important as his, and we should have been able to look at the agenda schedule and see it was canceled. He also could have come to the Town Hall and posted a cancellation notice.
