To the editor: 

It has become increasing rare to find a candidate for public office who supports the goals and aspirations of the citizens of this Commonwealth. It is even rarer to discover someone whose personal story is both so tragic and yet heartwarming.

Such is the person I’m supporting for Attorney General: Andrea Campbell.

Orphaned at an early age, raised by numerous relatives and for a brief period of time in foster care, Attorney Campbell lifted herself up to graduate from Princeton University and the prestigious UCLA School of Law. The first black female President of the Boston City Council, Ms. Campbell embodies the never defeat attitude of so many of our fellow citizens in the South Coast.

I’m supporting Andrea — I ask that you do so also.
