Lloyd Center for the Environment is hosting its third-annual holiday oyster sale.

Supporters can order fresh oysters by the dozen and shucking knives.

Oysters are $30 per dozen and will keep well for 10 days with refrigeration. Shucking knives are $15 each.

A portion of the proceeds from the oyster sale go toward the center’s education programs.

A reusable, thermal Lloyd Center bag will be given to anyone who orders a minimum of a dozen oysters, shucking knives and gloves. After placing an order, an email will be sent with links to a shucking video and recipe for grilled oysters.

All orders must be picked up Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the center’s welcome center, 430 Potomska Road.

Oysters are provided through Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms.
