Plot rentals are now being accepted at Helfand Farm Community Gardens.

The Chase Road community garden offers organic-only, 10’x20 plots to gardeners for $55 per year. Half plots are also available for $30. Plots are also available free of charge for those in need and members of non-profit organizations.

The gardens are operated by a volunteer-run nonprofit organization. In addition to offering garden space to gardeners of all ages and skill levels, the organization operates a soup kitchen garden to donate to those in need and teach volunteers growing healthy foods using sustainable methods. A new greenhouse was built by volunteers in 2017.

The gardens are located at 318 Chase Road, on land made available by neighboring Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust.
