Register for the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s annual bike ride

Feb 26, 2025

Event Date:

Sunday, October 5, 2025 (All day)

Registration for the 19th Annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride is now open. Taking place on Sunday, Oct. 5, riders will have the opportunity to ride along either a 100, 77, or 41-mile route that winds through farmland, villages, cityscapes, cranberry bogs and coast county backroads. The routes end in Woods Hole overlooking Buzzards Bay.

Funds raised will go to the Coalition’s work to protect and restore clean water in Buzzards Bay and elsewhere.

To sign up, visit www.savebuzzardsbay.org/events and click on Ride. The registration fee is $65 with a $300 fundraising minimum. Those who sign up before Feb. 28 and use discount code EARLYBIRD will get 50% off registration.

The ride is a fully supported event with rest stops and lunch, mechanical support, a SAG wagon, optional pre or post-event shuttle service and a celebration at the finish line.

More information about the ride, including the cycling routes, will be posted on the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s website.

One of the stops has changed this year from East Over Farm to Red Brick Farm, which is one of the Coalition’s newest properties. This changes the distance of the shortest route by a few miles.

Funds raised during previous rides have helped the Coalition carry out work in the preservation, restoration and sustainable use and enjoyment of Buzzards Bay and its watershed.
