The Lloyd Center for the Environment will host a kayak tour along the Slocum River on September 11, 6-8 p.m.

All paddling levels are welcome. Participants will meet at the Lloyd Center headquarters, located at 430 Potomska Road. Bring a non-alcoholic beverage and wear footwear that can get wet.

The trip will be led by certified instructors to provide both comprehensive sea kayak instruction and environmental-education.

The cost of the trip is $40 for Lloyd Center members and $50 for non-members. All equipment will be provided. Appropriate for ages 14 and up.
