Meeting Street announced the closure of its 76-year-old outpatient program in early October. But effective Nov. 1, Southcoast Health began operating the outpatient practice without Meeting Street’s participation, confirmed a spokesperson for Meeting Street. 

Southcoast Health plans to relocate to a new space, but will continue to operate out of Meeting Street’s Dartmouth campus until then.

“This ensures continuity of services for children and families, which has always been Meeting Street’s top priority,” read the statement from Meeting Street.

All of Meeting Street’s other programs, including Early Intervention, Parents as Teachers, Teen Parenting Program and Welcome Family will continue to operate.
