A trailer that caught fire around 2 a.m. on Aug. 18 was extinguished by a team of Fire District 1 personnel. 

On arrival, the crew was met with a large fire throughout the 20 foot long trailer. The trailer was located on Cherry Street, officials said. 

The Fire District 1 team put out the fire while working to protect surrounding trailers. 

“A credit to our Firefighters that no additional damage was done to any exposures,” Fire District 1 wrote in a FaceBook post.
