Work, classes begin at Dartmouth Cultural Center

Sep 13, 2018

The Old Southworth building is humming with activity in anticipation of the first classes at the new Dartmouth Cultural Center.

New carpet is being installed as the first step in the Center’s plan to restore and revitalize the beloved building, and people are getting the building ready to welcome students.

The Center is also looking volunteers to fill many roles, including administrative work, outreach, fundraising, website maintenance, gallery sitting, and help with the building and the grounds. They are also looking for sponsors who can help fund projects like upgrading plumbing and making the building handicap accessible. Those interested in helping out should email info@dartmouthculturalcenterinc.org.

Although the first classes will start on Monday, September 17, it’s not too late to sign up for one of the dozens of planned classes and workshops. Visit www.dartmouthculturalcenterinc.org for more information and to register for classes.
