David F. McLaughlin, 95
David F. McLaughlin, 95, of Dartmouth died on Thursday, Jan. 7 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was husband of the late Thelma I. (Chace) McLaughlin.
Born in Dartmouth, son of the late Frank A. and Jennie L.T. (Greene) McLaughlin, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. A veteran of World War II, he served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a self employed sawyer and farmer. Mr. McLaughlin attended the First Church of Nazarene, New Bedford and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Survivors include a son: Andrew F. McLaughlin of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two daughters: Ann E. McGraw and her husband John of St. Augustine, Florida and Faith I. McLaughlin of Dartmouth; three grandchildren: Ethan McLaughlin, Bethany Bagbey and Laura McLaughlin; and two great grandchildren: Brennan Bagbey and Chloe Bagbey.
He was father of the late Dana H. McLaughlin.
The funeral service was held on Monday, Jan. 11 at First Church of Nazarene, New Bedford at 10 a.m.
Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
