Friends Academy offers teacher course on Orton-Gillingham Reading Approach

From August 15-20, the Sally Borden Program at Friends Academy will offer training in the Orton-Gillingham Reading Approach, a program that teaches people with dyslexia or reading disorders how to read.
This 60-hour course prepares its participants for the Associate Level at the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Dawn Nieman, licensed by the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators to teach the Associates Level, will teach the course.
Participants will learn the fundamental elements of the Orton-Gillingham approach.
