Connect with Native American history.
An exhibit chronicling the history of the Wampanoag people and their connection to the Pilgrims starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Southworth Library. "Our Story: 400 years of Wampanoag History" is a part of Plymouth 400, an international celebration of the Mayflower arriving in America 400 years ago. Call (508) 984-1359 to RSVP. The exhibit will run March 3-30 during normal library hours.

Dine with friends.
The Dartmouth Grange will continue its monthly Farmer Film & Potluck series with the historical drama "Iron Jawed Angels." The film tells the story of young activists in the women's suffrage movement. The potluck begins at 6 p.m.; film starts at 6:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Bring a dish to share.
Saturday, March 4
Explore the stars.
The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth observatory will host an open house at 7 p.m. Viewings take place through the observatory’s 16-inch telescope. Ever source Energy is offering up to five LED light bulbs free of charge when you give staff your incandescent bulbs. The LED bulbs will help reduce the amount of energy used in your home. Bring your old bulbs and proof of Dartmouth residency to the Light Bulb Swap at Dartmouth High, 555 Bakerville Road, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Chirp with the bluebirds.
Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary invites the community to help build bluebird boxes at the sanctuary's Stone Barn property, located at 786 Horseneck Road. Get a crash course on teen driving dangers.
Healthy Dartmouth and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) will lead a discussion on teen drinking, texting, and distracted driving at Bishop Stang High School, 6-8 p.m. Topics include how to keep young drivers safe as prom, graduation, and warmer weather approach.
